Lark glanced at midnight as they arrived at the inn. "We just need to find the inkeeper." She said, glancing around but not seeing her in sight. "You'll like her. You'll like your room too. They are small and have room enough for one person, but still, I think you'll enjoy the views of the village from your window."
"O-okay," Midnight stammered, "maybe she's gone on break." Midnight took in her surroundings, staring at the towering inn. The world was a bit bigger than Midnight expected. Maybe a lot bigger.
Lark smiled reassuringly at her new friend. "Don't be nervous." She said, nudging the females shoulder. "It's big, but it's home." Lark sighed inwardly. She liked how lively the inn was and how much people laughed and smiled. It lifted her spirits to be here.
